Work For All is seeking Patry Chef on behalf of luxury 5* hotel properties in Samos, operated by a large and established hotel group.
About the Hotel Group & the Hotel
The hotel group operates in Samos and manages 7 properties of various categories, with a total of approximately 600 accommodation units. With a workforce of over 400 employees, the group delivers modern and authentic hospitality experiences, placing strong emphasis on its people and the continuous enhancement of its services. The hotel features 181 rooms and is ideal for families, friends, and groups of all ages. Guests can enjoy a variety of restaurants offering different cuisines, both buffet and a la carte, as well as lively bars for relaxation and entertainment throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning and creating a baked goods menu, including breads, pastries, and desserts.
- Collaborating with the Executive Chef in developing new recipes and innovative pastry products.
- Ensuring high quality, excellent presentation, decoration, and plating for all dishes according to top standards.
- Complying with hygiene, safety, and HACCP standards.
- Participating in inventory management, ordering, and supply of raw materials.
- Leading, training, and evaluating the pastry team to continuously develop skills and achieve high service standards.
- Monitoring and managing food costs.
- Ensuring smooth and effective collaboration between the pastry team members and other hotel departments for consistent and efficient operations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience (minimum 3 years) in a similar role within a 5* hotel environment.
- Degree from a Culinary School, Tourism or Gastronomy Studies, or a related field.
- High attention to detail and strict adherence to hygiene standards.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively solve problems while maintaining a guest-focused approach.
