Work For All is seeking a Cook A on behalf of luxury 5* hotel in Elounda, Crete.

 

About the Hotel

The hotel is located in Elounda, just 8 kilometers from Agios Nikolaos, and is a distinctive boutique hospitality destination of high standards. It features 33 unique suites and villas, thoughtfully designed with great attention to detail, offering authentic accommodation experiences suitable for families, couples, and groups of friends.
The property operates a Mediterranean cuisine restaurant serving a rich breakfast buffet and an elegant à la carte dinner, as well as an all-day bar, creating a complete hospitality experience in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and presenting dishes, with knowledge of both traditional and modern cuisine.
• Following recipes and procedures in accordance with hotel standards.
• Ensuring excellent taste, presentation, and correct food temperatures.
• Managing raw materials, including selection, receiving, and proper storage of high-quality ingredients.
• Supporting the organization of the kitchen and daily stock replenishment.
• Ensuring compliance with quality, hygiene, and food safety standards.
• Collaborating with the kitchen team to optimize production processes and ensure smooth daily operations.

 

 

Qualifications

• Previous experience (minimum 2 years) in a similar role within a 5* hotel environment.
• Degree from a Culinary School, Tourism or Gastronomy Studies, or a related field.
• Excellent knowledge of food preparation and presentation techniques.
• Attention to detail, creativity, and passion for high-quality gastronomy.
